Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Falcon Series 3.0 Piggyback Shock Kit is a set of all four corner-specific shocks for a 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a 3"-4" lift. TeraFlex tunes the Series 3.0 for a stable, comfortable ride on the road, with added compression damping for more aggressive handling off it. Each shock body and reservoir sits at the bottom to keep the shaft away from rocks thrown by the tires, and the front shocks add roost guards plus a horizontal piggyback reservoir for more tire clearance. Front roost guards and hardware are included.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Remove the existing shocks, following the factory service manual.
- Front prep: fit the roost guard, then the flat-bottom washer and bushing onto the Falcon shock.
- Front: install the shock with the roost guard facing outward, add the bushing and then the curved washer on top of the shock bracket, torque the top nut to 15 ft-lb, and fit the lower bar pin bolts at 20 ft-lb.
- Rear: loosely fit one upper bar pin bolt, slide the shock's slotted end onto it, then loosely fit the second bolt.
- Rear: torque the upper bar pin bolts to 25 ft-lb.
- Rear: fit the shock's lower eyelet into the shock bracket with the original hardware, reservoir toward the tire, and torque to 75 ft-lb.

TeraFlex's warranty policy lists all Falcon products, Nexus stabilizers included, at 1 year; some Falcon quick-start guides state a longer term, so contact us to confirm the current Falcon coverage before you rely on it. TeraFlex covers paint and powder-coat finishes for 90 days against defects.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.
