Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Falcon SP2 3.3 Fast Adjust Piggyback Shock Kit fits the 4-door 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited, in versions for a 1.5"-2.5", 3"-4.5" or 5"-6" lift. A 3-position knob gives Soft, Custom and Firm, and Custom adds an 8-position micro dial for fine tuning between them. The piggyback reservoir holds more oil and gas to cut heat and frees room for full travel; TeraFlex says it flows 6x more oil than hose-type reservoirs. The shocks can later be upgraded to 3.5 aDAPT or e-Adjust with cartridge kits sold separately.

Which version do I need?
Choose by lift: 03-02-33-400-002 for 1.5"-2.5", 03-02-33-400-253 for 3"-4.5", 03-02-33-400-406 for 5"-6".
Does it fit a 2-door JK?
No. TeraFlex lists all three versions for the 4-door JK Wrangler Unlimited only.
Do I need to change my bump stops?
Possibly. TeraFlex says the bump stop setup depends on the shock's collapsed length, your tire size and fenders; the instructions show the right configuration.
What warranty does TeraFlex give on Falcon shocks?
TeraFlex's warranty policy lists Falcon products at 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes at 90 days; some Falcon quick-start guides state a longer term. Contact us and we'll confirm the coverage for your part before you order.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Front: remove the factory front shocks.
- Front: fit the tab, bushing and flat-bottom washer on the shock stud before inserting it into the shock bucket, add the top bushing, washer and nut, seat the tab button and keep the tab centered so it cannot rub and squeak, then tighten until the nut bottoms out on the shoulder (or 15 ft-lbs).
- Rear: with the rear suspension at full droop, remove the rear tires and factory shocks; drill only the outside tab, using a 5/8" drill bit (on a Tera 60 axle, trim the sway bar tab for clearance).
- Rear: loosely fit one upper bolt, slide on the slotted end of the bar pin, then loosely fit the second bolt.
- Rear: install the spacer, insert the spacer and stud into the bracket and fit the lower eyelet with the factory hardware at 40 ft-lbs; torque the provided hardware to 40 ft-lbs.
- Rear: torque both top bolts to 30 ft-lbs.

TeraFlex's warranty policy lists all Falcon products, Nexus stabilizers included, at 1 year; some Falcon quick-start guides state a longer term, so contact us to confirm the current Falcon coverage before you rely on it. TeraFlex covers paint and powder-coat finishes for 90 days against defects.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Check the four shocks, roost guards, hardware and fender trim template against the contents list, and look over each reservoir for shipping damage. Contact us right away about anything missing or damaged. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
