The HD Forged Drag Link Kit, 0"-6" Lift strengthens the front end where factory steering parts tend to give out. Serviceable, greaseable joints are designed for a long life instead of a throwaway replacement. Part number 1863900 and 1863920 is built for the 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator.

Installation

Follow the TeraFlex instructions for this part, center the steering before final tightening, and torque every fastener to the sheet. A wheel alignment is needed afterward, and TeraFlex recommends installation by a certified mechanic.

Installs the JL and JT HD chromoly tie rod and moves the steering stabilizer to it. With aftermarket brakes, the front backing plates may need a small notch, made with a barrel sander or with snips or a cutoff wheel after removing the plates.

Revision B of the JL and JT HD forged drag link instructions. The adjuster clamp bolts are tightened alternately, which the sheet says can take up to 10 rounds before both hold torque.

Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage, and TeraFlex excludes normal wear, improper installation or maintenance, modifications, racing or competition use, and accident or abuse damage. To make a claim, call TeraFlex customer service with proof of purchase; removing the part and shipping it to TeraFlex are the buyer's responsibility, and TeraFlex pays to send the repaired or replacement part back. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the cartons when the order is placed; larger kits and axles ship by freight. Inspect on delivery. Inspect the carton and every part as soon as the delivery arrives, note any shipping damage with the carrier, and contact us right away so we can make it right.
