Description & Fitment
TeraFlex's LCG Long Arm Frame Bracket Kit (Lower) for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and 2004-2006 Wrangler Unlimited LJ relocates the frame end of the lower control arms for TeraFlex's LCG long arm setup on 3"-5" lifts. The brackets are CNC laser-cut and bent from 1/4" steel, locate on the factory belly pan skid plate bolt holes and are then stitch welded. TeraFlex says these are the same brackets used in its Pro LCG and Enduro LCG systems. Control arms are not included.

Does it include control arms?
No. TeraFlex says the brackets must be used with its adjustable LCG long control arms, sold separately.
Is welding required?
Yes. The factory control arm brackets are cut off and these are stitch welded to the frame.
Does it fit both TJ and LJ?
Yes, TeraFlex lists it for the TJ and LJ Unlimited with 3"-5" of lift. An alignment is required after install.
What warranty does TeraFlex give?
TeraFlex covers its control arms, IR bushings and long arm brackets for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Non-IR control arm bushings carry 1 year and finishes 90 days. Contact us with your order details to confirm coverage on any other part or to start a claim.

Installation
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Lift the TJ onto jack stands, remove any factory side steps, and remove the front and rear lower control arms on the passenger side only so the axle stays located.
- Grind the welds off the passenger lower arm mounts, chisel them free, buff and paint the area, then support the transmission and transfer case and remove the transfer case skid plate.
- Use the TeraFlex BellyUp skid plate or trim the factory skid plate for the bracket and rear lower arms, checking clearance through full arm travel.
- Fit the long arm bracket on the skid plate bolts and tack weld both sides, connect the front and rear lower FlexArms to the bracket and axle with the stock bolts (about 32.5" front and 32" rear on a 4" TeraFlex lift, rear set for pinion angle), then repeat on the driver side.
- Remove the skid plate bolts under each bracket (the tack welds hold it), refit and tighten the skid plate, check every bolt, and add 1/2" stitch welds to secure the brackets permanently.
- Have the alignment checked by a 4WD-experienced shop, keeping factory caster and setting toe-in.

TeraFlex covers its control arms, IR bushings and long arm brackets for life against defects in materials and workmanship. Alpine control arm bushings other than IR carry 1 year, and paint and powder coat finishes 90 days (defects only).- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Check every arm, bracket and hardware pack against the part list in the TeraFlex instructions before you start cutting, and contact us right away about anything missing or damaged. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
