Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex Performance Big Rotor Kit is the lower-cost way TeraFlex offers to add braking for a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK or JK Unlimited on larger, heavier wheels and tires, and TeraFlex calls it a must for 33" to 35" tires. It pairs bigger rotors with anchor brackets that carry the calipers out to them. Choose the front kit with vented or slotted rotors, or the rear kit with solid or slotted rotors; the rear kits carry two 13.5" rotors and two anchor brackets. Every rotor is drilled for 5x5" and 5x5.5" bolt patterns, and 17" or larger wheels are required.

Can I run it with 8-lug wheels?
Only with a TeraFlex 8-lug conversion, sold separately: the front kit pairs with the Dana 30/44 front axle 8-lug locking hub conversion, the rear kit with the rear axle 8-lug full-float conversion.
Does it include calipers?
No calipers are listed. The rear kit's TeraFlex parts list is two anchor brackets and two rotors, and the front kit's sheet covers the caliper brackets.
What wheel size do I need?
TeraFlex requires wheels of at least 17" diameter for these rotors.

Should I install brake parts myself?
TeraFlex asks you to read its instructions fully before you start and recommends installation by a certified mechanic. Brakes are safety parts, so whoever does the work should test the pedal and the brakes at low speed before normal driving.

Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Park on level ground, set the parking brake, chock the rear tires, and set the front axle on jack stands; remove a front wheel (19mm).
- Remove the two caliper mount bolts (13mm, holding the 15mm nut) and hang the caliper from the coil spring with wire, never from the ABS wire or brake hose.
- Remove the caliper bracket (21mm) and the factory rotor.
- Move the caliper slides from the factory bracket into the TeraFlex bracket with a dab of slide grease in each bore, snapping the boots into their grooves, and transfer the pad springs and pads.
- Fit the TeraFlex big rotor, then the new bracket with pads on the factory bolts (21mm) and the factory caliper and bolts (13mm, 15mm); refit the wheel and repeat on the other side.
- Pump the brakes before driving so the pads seat against the rotors, then lower the Jeep; expect a firmer pedal feel during the first stops while the pads bed in.

TeraFlex's warranty list covers its big rotor kits for life against defects in materials and workmanship. It also lists brake rotors and brake pads as wear items with no warranty, so contact us to confirm the coverage before you order.- TeraFlex extends its limited warranty only to the consumer who first bought the product, and only on the vehicle the part was first installed on. It does not pass to a later owner.
- Coverage starts on the purchase date and does not restart if a part is repaired or replaced.
- For a covered defect, TeraFlex will either repair or replace the product (or the faulty part) free of charge or refund the purchase price, at its discretion, and it pays the freight to send a repaired or replacement part back to you.
- Not covered: damage from transportation, storage, improper use, skipped instructions or preventive maintenance, modifications, unauthorized repair, normal wear and tear, product finish, improper installation or maintenance, racing or competition, or accidents, abuse and neglect. Improper installation, poor maintenance, racing or competition use, and neglect or abuse void the warranty.
- Paint and powder coat finishes carry 90 days of defect coverage only, not wear from use.
- Claims: contact us first. Keep your proof of purchase or original invoice; removing the part from the vehicle and the inbound shipping are the owner's responsibility.

Check every rotor, caliper, bracket, line and hardware bag against the parts list in the TeraFlex instructions before you start, and look braided lines over for kinks or damaged fittings. Contact us right away about anything missing or damaged. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
