Description & Fitment
The TeraFlex SpeedBump & Progressive Bump Stop Kit, Front & Rear, pairs two TeraFlex bump stop types for a 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK on a 3"-3.5" lift. It combines composite SpeedBump stops with Progressive foam stops made from TeraFlex's nitrogen-charged, closed-cell microcellular polyurethane, which it says will not fade under heavy use and stays flexible in heat or sub-zero cold. TeraFlex lists the bump stops in this kit as a full 1.5" longer than stock, so a lifted JK reaches its stops before parts make contact.

About TeraFlex
TeraFlex describes itself as a Jeep company at heart, started and staffed by people who drive them. It designs, engineers and builds suspension systems, shocks, axles and performance parts, with the Wrangler and Gladiator at the center of the range.
The company traces its roots to the 1950s and MEPCO (Military Equipment Parts Company), an early supplier of Jeep parts. TeraFlex Manufacturing followed in 1996 to build heavy-duty suspension for the TJ Wrangler, and today's catalog runs from full lift systems and the Falcon shock line to axles, steering and armor.
Authorized TeraFlex dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized TeraFlex dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine TeraFlex. In TeraFlex's words, its limited warranty extends "only to the consumer who originally purchased the product," so keep your receipt with your build records.

Installation
- Basic mechanic's tool set
- Allen wrench - 3/16"
- Combination end wrench - 1/2"
Here's the short version. Follow TeraFlex's install sheet (below) for your Jeep's exact steps and torque values.
- Front: park level with the parking brake set, raise and support the Jeep so the axle droops, disconnect the sway bar links, shocks and (with the axle supported) the track bar at the axle (18mm), then remove the factory isolator and bump stop.
- Mark the jounce tube 3.5" down from the spring pocket and make a straight, square cut, then lower the axle to remove the springs without overstretching the ABS and brake lines.
- Test-fit the SpeedBump in the jounce tube (add the 0.25" or 0.75" spacer sleeve so it stops up-travel before the shocks bottom), drill and bolt on the support tube brace at 200 in-lbs (22 Nm), and trim and deburr the tubes flush.
- Coat the lower SpeedBump with black RTV silicone, seat it, torque the retainer clamp to 74.5 in-lbs (8 Nm) and refit the isolator; refit the springs together with the 467125 lower bump stops bolted to the spring pads (p3).
- Refit the shocks (lower bolt 56 ft-lbs) and sway bar links (75 ft-lbs), lower the Jeep and refit the front track bar at 125 ft-lbs with the frame-side bolt in from the front and the nut to the rear.
- Rear: twist the factory bump stops out, tap the extension cups onto the frame bumpstop bells (file sharp edges, grease the lip), twist the SpeedBump bump stops in with silicone spray, and bolt the 954600 lower pads to the axle with the extended end facing forward.
