The Warn M8 (26502) is a compact 12-volt recovery winch rated at 8,000 lb, supplied with 100' of 5/16" steel rope, a roller fairlead and a wired remote. Its low-profile shape fits the tighter spaces often found on classic 4WD vehicles, and Warn designs, engineers and assembles it in the USA. Warn backs it with a limited lifetime mechanical and seven year electrical warranty. Vehicle fit comes from the Warn mount or winch-ready bumper it bolts to, sold separately.

Will it fit my vehicle?
Fit comes from the mount. The M8 bolts to a Warn winch mount, winch carrier or winch-ready bumper made for your vehicle, sold separately.
Steel or synthetic rope?
This is the steel-rope M8 with a roller fairlead. The M8-S (87800) is the same 8,000 lb winch with 100' of synthetic rope and a hawse fairlead.
Does it come with a mount?
No. Warn sells winch mounts, carriers and winch-ready bumpers separately; the mount for your vehicle is what fits the winch.
Is a remote included?
Yes. Warn includes a wired remote with the M8.
What does the line pull rating mean?
Warn rates line pull on the first layer of rope on the drum. Pull drops as more layers of rope build up, so use a snatch block for heavy recoveries.
How is it covered?
