Its 12-strand UHMWPE has a minimum straight-line breaking strength of 18,000 lb (8,165 kg). A forged steel hook with clasp, a Nomex heat sleeve and an anchor kit are included. The red heat sleeve warns of the rope end and protects the first layer from drum heat, and a ballistic nylon sliding sleeve guards against abrasion.
