The ZEON XD 14-S is the biggest winch Warn builds in the XD family, and it exists for the trucks that outgrew everything else: 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickups, flatbeds, heavy expedition rigs, and anything that has to pull itself out while carrying a camper. Fourteen thousand pounds of single-line pull comes from a 213:1 reduction through the same 3-stage planetary geartrain that runs the rest of the line, so the extra capacity arrives without a physically bigger winch: it is still 23.89" long on the standard 10" x 4.5" bolt pattern. Warn seals the whole unit to IP68 submersion and IP69K high-pressure spray with automotive-grade O-rings, armors the gear end and control pack in metal, and specifies the finish and fasteners to 408 hours of salt spray. It ships with 80' of 3/8" Spydura Pro synthetic rope, a forged black aluminum hawse fairlead, a 12' corded remote and the HUB wireless receiver built into the control pack. Engineered, tested and assembled in Clackamas, Oregon.

Features
14,000 lb, the Highest Capacity in the XD Line Fourteen thousand pounds of single-line pull is aimed squarely at 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks, heavy overland builds and anything carrying a slide-in camper. Warn sizes winches at roughly 1.5 times the vehicle's loaded weight, which puts this model over rigs in the 9,000 lb range with margin for a genuine stuck, not just a tug.
213:1 Reduction, Full Capacity in the Same Footprint The 14-S gets its capacity from a 213:1 reduction rather than a bigger housing, so it still measures 23.89" long on the standard 10" x 4.5" bolt pattern and drops into the same mounts as the 10-S and 12-S. No-load line speed is 26.1 ft/min and rated-load speed is 2.1 ft/min, drawing 65 amps free and 482 amps at full pull.
Spydura Pro Rope Built for Heat The 3/8" Spydura Pro rope carries heat-resistant inner wraps under its abrasion sleeve, which is the detail that matters at this capacity: a long pull at 14,000 lb puts real heat into the drum through the cone brake, and the wraps protect the line from it. Synthetic also means you can handle the rope one-handed and it does not store the energy a steel cable would.
Sealed to IP68 and IP69K Automotive-grade O-ring sealing runs through the motor, geartrain and control pack, and the complete winch carries both an IP68 submersion rating and an IP69K high-pressure spray rating. Deep water crossings and pressure washing are both inside design intent.
Full Metal Armor and OE-Grade Corrosion Protection Metal armor shields the gear end and control pack from rock strikes and trail debris. The satin-black powder coat, black fasteners and UV-resistant bus bar covers are specified to 408 hours of salt spray, which is what keeps a working truck's winch functional through salted winters.
Wireless Control From Your Phone, Plus a Corded Remote The HUB wireless receiver is built into the control pack, so the Warn HUB app gives you control from over 100' away with live status while you stand somewhere safe. The ruggedized 12' corded remote is included as well.
Albright Contactor and Bus Bar Wiring Warn uses an Albright contactor and automotive OE-grade bus bars in place of a conventional solenoid pack. At 482 amps of rated-load draw, clean electrical control is not a luxury item.

Fit guidance: This is a universal-fit winch, not a vehicle-specific kit. It uses the industry-standard 10" x 4.5" 4-bolt pattern and shares its 23.89" length with the rest of the XD line, so it drops into the same winch bumpers, plates and mounts as the 10-S and 12-S with no extra clearance needed. Check that your mount and bumper are rated for the load you intend to pull: at 14,000 lb the mount, its fasteners and the frame mounting points matter as much as the winch. Warn sizing guidance is roughly 1.5 times your vehicle's loaded weight. The mount is sold separately.

Installation
Type: Bolt-in to a winch mount, plate or bumper with the standard 10" x 4.5" 4-bolt pattern; wiring direct to the battery · Time: About 1 to 2 hours · Tools: Metric socket set, torque wrench, battery terminal wrench; a second person to lift the winch into the mount · Difficulty: Intermediate, DIY-friendly with basic electrical experience
Set the winch into the mount and torque the four bolts to the figures in the Warn installation guide, fit the fairlead, then route the 2 gauge battery leads clear of the exhaust and any moving steering or suspension components. Because this winch can pull 14,000 lb, verify that your mount, its hardware and the frame mounting points are rated for it before the first recovery. Cycle the winch in and out under no load, confirm the clutch lever and remote socket are reachable with the bumper installed, and read Warn's basic winching guide before you rig a real pull.

About Warn
Warn Industries has been building vehicle recovery equipment since 1948, when the company's locking hub turned surplus military Jeeps into usable civilian vehicles. Winches followed, and for most of the last half-century a Warn winch has been the default answer on a truck bumper. That reputation is not marketing: Warn designs, tests and assembles its premium winches at its own ISO-quality facility in Clackamas, Oregon, and it publishes real performance data, including line speed and motor current at every load point, rather than a single headline number.
The ZEON family is Warn's premium truck and SUV line, and the ZEON XD is the generation that reworked it from the ground up. Compared with the ZEON winches it replaced, the XD adds a faster motor and geartrain, an Albright contactor and OE-grade bus bars for cleaner electrical control, automotive-grade O-ring sealing rated to IP68 and IP69K, full metal armor over the gear end and control pack, and corrosion-resistant black fasteners tested to 408 hours of salt spray. The 14-S is the newest and highest-capacity member of that family. It is backed by a limited lifetime mechanical warranty and a seven-year electrical warranty through a global service network.
Prestige Truck is an authorized Warn dealer. Every winch we ship is new, factory-sealed, covered by the full Warn factory warranty, and supported by Warn's US-based service team and parts supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Do I actually need 14,000 lb?
If you drive a 3/4-ton or 1-ton, or you carry a camper, yes. Warn's sizing guidance is roughly 1.5 times the vehicle's loaded weight, and a loaded heavy-duty pickup can be 9,000 lb before you add anything. On a mid-size truck or a Jeep the 14-S is more winch than the vehicle can use, and the 10-S or 12-S will spool faster for the same money.
Is it bigger than the 12-S? Will my mount still fit?
No, and yes. The 14-S shares the ZEON XD footprint: 23.89" long, 10.52" tall, on the standard 10" x 4.5" 4-bolt pattern. It drops into the same bumpers, plates and mounts as the 10-S and 12-S. What does change is the load your mount and frame have to carry, so confirm the mount is rated for it.
How fast does it pull?
26.1 ft/min with no load and 2.1 ft/min at the full 14,000 lb rating. High-capacity winches trade speed for pull, which is exactly what the 213:1 reduction is doing. Motor draw is 65 amps free and 482 amps at rated pull, so a healthy 650 CCA battery and a running engine are not optional during a recovery.
Why does it only carry 80' of rope?
Drum capacity. The XD drum is 3.15" in diameter and 9.0" long across the whole line, and 3/8" rope at 14,000 lb needs the layer count kept sensible: pulling power drops as the rope stacks up, so the outer layers of a longer rope would give you less capacity, not more. If you need more reach, use a tree strap and a snatch block rather than a longer line.
Can I control it from the cab?
Yes. The HUB wireless receiver is built into the control pack, so the Warn HUB app gives control from over 100' away plus live status. The ruggedized 12' corded remote is in the box as a backup.
How is it protected against water and salt?
The complete unit, not just the motor, is rated IP68 for submersion and IP69K for high-pressure spray using automotive-grade O-ring seals. The finish and fasteners are specified to 408 hours of salt spray, and the gear end and control pack sit behind metal armor rather than plastic covers.

Look is great. 100 lbs
Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

A must have
I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I
The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
