Will the 265-3-02 fit my truck?

At 64-1/4" long, the 265-3-02 sits comfortably on a full-size 6-1/2' standard bed and leaves extra rail on an 8' bed, so you can pair it with a headache rack or a second box. On a 5-1/2' short bed it can overhang the tailgate, so measure your rail length first. It is a full-size truck box and is not designed for mid-size or compact pickups.

Does it require drilling to install?

No. The box ships with under-rail brackets and hardware, so it clamps to the top of your bed side rail without drilling. Most installs take about 30 to 45 minutes and go easiest with two people to lift and hold the 64" box while you tighten the hardware.

Is this the steel box or the aluminum one?

This is the welded steel version, the most rugged and pry-resistant Hi-Side box Weather Guard offers. It weighs about 114 lb and is a great fit for contractors and fleets that want maximum durability. If you want to save weight, Weather Guard also builds this size in aluminum diamond plate.

What is the white finish like?

The steel body wears a Brite White ARMOR TUF powder coat that resists chips, fading and corrosion and keeps a clean, professional look. Wipe it down with mild soap and water to keep it bright.

How secure is it and how do the doors work?

Two side-opening doors each give you a 29-1/2" wide by 14-1/4" tall opening into the single 10.8ft³ interior, so you can load from either side of the truck. Each door has a drill-resistant lock core and three-point latching for security, adjusts from 90 to 180 degrees, and pops off with tool-less QuickClips when you need to slide in something long. The wide-body 16-1/4" depth makes this size a good match for power tools, cases and mid-length gear.
