The half bar design runs horizontal bars across the outer sides of the frame while leaving the center open, so it guards the cab and marks the load line yet keeps a clear window for backing up and keeping an eye on cargo. It is built from corrosion-resistant aluminum with a matte black ARMOR TUF powder coat, mounts on the bed rails just behind the cab, and adjusts for height to clear the cab on full-size pickups. Mounting brackets and hardware are included, and the built-in accessory channel accepts Weather Guard light brackets, cargo stops and tie-downs.

Half Bar Design, Window Access Kept Clear
Horizontal bars fill the outer sides of the frame while the center stays open, so you keep cab protection but hold onto a clear view through the rear window. Installation

Type: Bed-rail mount behind the cab, included brackets and hardware  ·  Time: About 30 to 45 minutes  ·  Tools: Socket or wrench set and a tape measure; the mounting brackets and hardware are included  ·  Difficulty: Easy to moderate, best done with two people to hold the frame while you bolt it down

Assemble the legs to the frame, set the rack on the bed rails just behind the cab, and secure it with the included brackets and hardware. Adjust the leg height so the frame clears the back of the cab and the open center lines up with the rear window, then tighten the hardware evenly. A second person makes it easier to hold the frame in place while you fasten the brackets. Follow the Weather Guard instructions for bracket placement and re-check the fasteners after the first drive.
