Description & Fitment
Choose the 11906-52-01 Hex rack when guarding the cab matters most: Weather Guard says its hexagon screen gives the greatest cab protection in the aluminum line. At 38 lb it is the heaviest of the four, measuring 25.5" H x 66" W x 3.6" D in matte black, and it still takes lights and cargo stops in its channel.

Does it need a mounting kit?
No. The Hex rack comes with its weldment brackets, base brackets and bolt kit.
Do I have to drill?
Yes. Weather Guard's sheet has you mark and drill mounting points for your truck from its chart, then fit the base brackets with blind fasteners and carriage bolts.
What torque do the bolts take?
Weather Guard's sheet calls for 13 ft-lb on the 5/16" hardware and 76 lb-in on the 1/4" hardware.
Can I add lights later?
Yes. The channel on the frame takes the 11919-52-01 side light brackets (2-pack) and the 11920-52-01 center light bracket, and they bolt in without drilling.
Which screen style should I pick?
It comes down to view against cover. Weather Guard says the Hex gives the most cab protection, the Louvered also covers the window, the Open Frame keeps the most visibility, and the Half Bar guards the cab while leaving the rear window reachable.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Work on level ground and check the truck maker's rail-mount advice. The rack is made for Ford F-150/F-250, Ram 1500/2500, GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado.
- Fit the bushings on the rack frame and find your bolt locations in the truck chart on p2/p4.
- Bolt the frame to the upper brackets with the 1/2" flanged button-head bolts and lock nuts, loosely, and test the height on the truck.
- Set both base brackets in the far rear corners, mark and drill the points for your truck, and fit the bases loosely with blind fasteners and carriage bolts.
- Seat the upper assembly over the base on its studs and secure with washer and nut.
- Tighten all 5/16" hardware to 13 ft-lb and all 1/4" hardware to 76 in-lb.

- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole rack at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a rack that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what you carry in the bed or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.

Check the rack frame, both weldment brackets, both base brackets and the bolt kit against the parts list and look the matte black finish over before drilling. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
