Fits the same truck
Integrated LED step lighting
Aluminum, rated to 300 lb per door
Stainless steel hinge pins and hardware
Made for the 2015-2019 Ford Transit, part 76159-01A is a vehicle-specific PowerStep kit. AMP Research lists this kit as passenger side only. This is the Plug-N-Play kit, which reads the door signal through a connection module plugged into the OBD-II port. The aluminum board is rated for 300 lb per door and tucks away under the Transit's passenger-side rocker when the doors close. Plan on 3-5 hours for the install: AMP Research rates it level 4 of 4 and recommends a professional, and its guide calls for some drilling.
| Years | Model | Bed | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2015-2019 | Transit | — |
Check your truck: Match your model year and model to the fitment table; the table lists no cab limit for these rows. Kit: Plug-N-Play.
Not for: 2015-2019 Ford Transit, Driver & Passenger Side version (76259-01A); 2020-2021 Ford Transit, Driver & Passenger Side version (76260-01A); 2020-2021 Ford Transit, Passenger Side Only version (76160-01A).
AMP Research calls its PowerStep the original power-retractable running board, made since 2002. Its install guides name AMP Research as the designer and manufacturer.
The PowerStep range covers the standard PowerStep, the PowerStep XL (sits up to 3" lower for lifted trucks), the PowerStep Xtreme (two motors per side for snow, ice and mud), the PowerStep Smart Series (phone app control) and the PowerStep Vision (LED edge lighting). Each kit is made for specific vehicles. AMP Research says newer applications connect through an OBD-II module, which AMP calls Plug-N-Play; kits for many older trucks are hard-wired to the door-signal wires.
Authorized AMP Research dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized AMP Research dealer, so what we sell is new and genuine AMP Research. In AMP Research's words, the warranty "applies to the original purchaser only," and "you must retain proof of purchase and submit a copy with any items returned for warranty work." Your Prestige Truck order receipt is that proof.
Yes, if it matches a row in the fitment table: the table lists 2015-2019 Ford Transit. If you're unsure, send us your VIN and we'll check.
Plug-N-Play. AMP Research's connection module plugs into the truck's OBD-II port for the door signal.
AMP Research recommends professional installation for every PowerStep, though it says experienced DIYers can do it at home with the included vehicle-specific kit and instructions. AMP's guides rate the job level 4 of 4 (experienced) and list 2-3 hours or 3-5 hours depending on the truck; some trucks need drilling and some cabs need the boards cut to length.
Plug-N-Play kits pick up the door signal through AMP Research's plug-in connection module, which on most trucks plugs into the OBD-II port under the dash. Hard-Wire kits tap into the truck's door-signal wires with the supplied connectors. Each listing names its own kit type, and the guide for your truck shows exactly what is involved.
AMP's guide says a moving board stops on its own if it meets an obstruction. Clear it, then open and close the door to resume normal operation. Keep hands away while the boards are moving.
AMP's guide says mud, dirt and salt can get trapped in the mechanism and cause noise, and its maintenance section covers cleaning it out. When you wash the truck, avoid spraying the motors directly; afterwards, apply a silicone spray lubricant to the hinge pivot pins. Don't put silicone, wax or protectants such as Armor All on the step surface.
Here's the short version. Follow AMP Research's install guide (below) for your truck's exact mounting points, wiring and torque settings.

Purchased Bak revolver bed cover, Amp power steps and thick rubber bed liner. All awesome and delivered as promised with NO damages.
I was against these at first but decided to try them... put them on a month ago and no issues with the snow, salt or cold. Best part is that these sit lower, wider and ouside the cab when down. Easier for everyone to get in and fitment is spot on. Cant even tell they're on the truck. Install took 5 hours in a garagr on the floor. The wiring is not "plug and play" isnt bad if your experienced but you do have to splice wires and pay attention to wire routing. Read the directions closely.
I removed the stock running boards and installed the power steps in about 6-7 hours. A leisurely Saturday job by any competent DIYer. No special tools required. My install did require some adjustments of the step brackets and a few hammer taps pushing outwards on the body pinch seam on the front passenger corner. May be unique to my vehicle. You can’t tell any massaging was needed. All in all a fairly straightforward install and I’m happy with the results.
Flawless so far; love the lights as well
The steps fit perfectly and has given about 5 more inches of ground clearance when retracted. Of course entry and exit from/to the Raptor is much more comfortable for the ladies.
These things are great. They are everything that they are hyped up to be. Functionally they work flawlessly, and aesthetically, They look better than any other step in my opinion. I would caution anybody that doesn’t have an above average ability to install the electrical portion. I’ve installed these before on a different vehicle and they were very simple. On my ‘22 AT4 however, there was one electrical connection that required I get up under my driver side kick panel and splice into some very small very obscured wires. If you don’t have the confidence to do this, you’re better off paying somebody to do it. The directions provided are but clear could use better images to illustrate the process for this one electrical connection.
Awesome product easy installation
Had a issue with my delivery and it was taken care of right away!!! The best customer service Ive ever dealt with!!!
The AMP power steps looked great and felt very sturdy BUT the step was only 6. 25” off the ground when deployed - not even close to the 10-12” as advised before I bought them. I made sure they didn’t send the XL (extra low) option. I am very disappointed and returned the steps.
These steps were very easy to install and give the truck a nice clean look but I'm not convinced they are worth the price. I bought these over other brands because of they have a high recommendation and value rating but I'm not sure the added cost is justified. The operate smoothly with the exception of a thump when they reach the closed position and feel fairly sturdy however I do think a 3rd joint in/near the middle would provide more stability. I'm not regretting the purchase in any way, I just don't know that they need to be this expensive, especially with other less expensive options out there.
Product is straightforward to install and works perfectly as advertised. The step is solid. The hardest part of the project is installing the step onto the articulating brackets.
I had these AMP Research steps professionally installed on my new 2026 Tundra Hybrid 1794, and they’ve exceeded my expectations. I was initially worried I’d need a manual override switch like the one shown in the owner’s manual, but that wasn’t the case at all—they integrated seamlessly with the truck. The battery location under the driver-side rear seat actually made the install straightforward. The steps deploy smoothly every time, tuck up clean when not in use, and look right at home on the truck. Solid build, clean install, and they work exactly as they should.
Great services and great product..
I purchased the power running boards but had the installed by a truck accessories shop.
The suggested placement of the control module was such that it interfered with battery removal, so I relocated it. Other than that the installation was as expected / advertised. Should not be one's first DIY. It was called a plug-in-play unit. Misnomer. Two splices into the truck wireing harness IS NOT plug-in-play. BUT let me say that I love the unit and it works great!!
These steps are slick. They illuminate very well at night, and make for easy exit and entry. No hopping in, no sliding out. They deploy every time.
Bought a new Sequoia I am average height and needed a boost. Well this step is amazing. You were the only place carrying this for my SUV. Highly recommended
I was sent this review request, however we have not received the product yet (going on 3 weeks). As such it is hard for me to rate something that I haven't gotten. I would fix the algorithm to send this request for review at least a week post shipping. . . .
Top quality
Worth every penny,my knees thank you❤️
The step provides much better footing than the factory (non retractable) step that came with the truck. When it is retracted, it gives my truck a much cleaner appearance. I had an auto mechanic install it so cannot speak to how easy it was to install.
Fantastic product. Installation took a few hours, but went smoothly and without any complications. It has been used on my truck daily for over a year now and has performed flawlessly. High quality materials that are very sturdy and durable. Very functional step that makes getting in and out a breeze. I can’t say enough about the AMP power step! 👍
Easy to install with step by step instructions
Really Like Them
Friendly service fast delivery i will be ordering more parts from them
Love the power steps on my 23 dodge ram 2500 long bed crew cab. Putting regular fixed running boards on such a long truck would look awful. It will look like a city buss. Love the power steps being at the actual needed height without loosing any ground clearance, very important on such a long wheel base truck. My wife can now climb in my truck with a dress on. She now loves my truck as well.
I'm really impressed with the quality of the components and ease of installation of the Power step Running Boards. Fit and finish looks like it came from the factory! Running boards only deploy on the side of the truck where a door was opened. LED lighting augments the mirror mounted puddle lights and illuminates the steps at night for safety. Well thoughtout and engineered package
I should have done this years ago! I’m older now and getting in and out of my truck was getting a bit difficult. A friend of mine had installed a power step and said it changed his life. I took the advice and now I am a believer! This installation was not for making my truck look cool. It was a practically installation and I’m glad I did it! My mechanic looked the plug and play feature.
Look and work great.
Still waiting for warranty part, Steps only depo when frt doors are opened. it been several months and still waiting for the correct usb part. . . . . . But love the steps
Looks and works perfect.. fast shipping also !
Looks great and functions perfectly! My wife loves it also. Would leave pictures but it’s in the shop getting more mods done. Will add pics later if I can. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I love the new boards, it makes getting into and out of the car much easier. They look nice, work as expected, and are sturdy. It took a little longer than expected to install (5-6 hours), and it would have been helped if I had the right tools (I had torque wrenches, but I needed ratcheting box wrenches in metric measurements).
It’s only been one month but love the powered amp side steps on my Silverado truck, should have done it years ago.
Looks great, directions was a little hard to understand.
Power boards
Love the power steps, had them on my old truck going on 13 years now with (0) zero issues! The new ones I recently installed on my new truck are smoother and quieter than ever, with the 3 second delay close feature being the icing on the cake!
These are great running boards. Wish they had the OBDII plug in, but install was easy. Only thing I didn’t like was the clips for the motor covers. They seemed to break. Only a one time use.
Customer service was knowledgeable and very helpful. I was able to install the running boards in a few hours and they work great. I’ll be a repeat customer.
Great steps and the quality is very good! Installation was easy. The only thing is, I wish the motors were already installed and torqued. Already had a Ft Lb Torque wrench, but had to purchase an In Lb Torque Wrench ( Which I probably would never used again) to torque them correctly. All in all, the quality and the looks of the steps are hands down awesome! Highly recommend!!
They are lower than the factory step bars when you need them and offer better ground clearance when you need them out of the way. Easy install couple of hours.
Bought these steps and installed just to have the motors make a terrible noise. Contacted AMP and was told they went to a different motor and they are aware of the issue in the motor under a load but don’t have a fix for it. Why sell a product when you know you have a problem with it.
the best I’m very happy with the amp Research
Installed the power step on my 2026 f150 super crew. We had Fords version on a f350 dually and my wife loved them, so we wanted power steps on the f150. Amp research gets good reviews for their step height and we agree- they look and work great. Instructions were good. The positaps made splicing the 2 wires easy (note that the green with blue stripe wire looks similar to the green with purple stripe wire-took a phone pic to help me to identify the correct one).
I won't own another truck without these steps. Love them.
I don’t know why I wait so long for these steps. I love them and the clean look is wonderful.
Nice product. Install was ok.
Best thing to add to a tall truck. I use them on all my trucks. Makes getting in and out so much easier than factory boards. Amp are the the first and best boards unit their.
First time always the longest but fairly simple to install. Defect on a part but extremterrain was extremely helpful in resolving and getting new one out.
I haven't done much automotive mechanical work for a long time and was unsure about this install. It was actually really rewarding and interesting to go through the process and see the result. Pretty easy install.
Steps are great. Need better directions and placement details of drilled holes cardboard layouts fit every truck differently so holes end up larger than they need be. Also torque head screws are cheap version and would be better if hex head of a better made bolt
The AMP Research PowerStep is amazing
Great product. Easy to install. Fast shipping. Very happy.
Not to happy with them 5 weeks in to them left motor is failing
I have always wanted these steps! They are awesome! I personally love the look of my truck with out steps but I need them (steps), to assist with my entry & exit. These steps not only look great, they work great and the fit n feel factor is great too. My stock steps were useful, but seemed a bit high to get in & out. The AMP research steps are a better feel for exiting & entry and the fit to the truck is just perfect. I additionally like how only the side of door opening deploys a step, very classy. I have not experienced a winter with them yet but hope they continue to be reliable, work good and there are no issues. Simply put what a great investment & look for my truck !
OUTSTANDING is the word that comes to mind with the new AMP power steps!!!
Need something stronger to hold the light to the body
The install was pretty much by the instructions, once I received the correct ones. I was initially gived an older version which did not include the brose drive motors. Once I got the correct instructions, everything pretty much was by the book with 1 exception. When you relocate the brose motor assemblies to the rear mounting location, you did NOT extend the wiring harness to reach the rear mounts? I had to extend the power wires to the brose drive motors to complete the install. Other than that, with the correct installation manual it was right by the book. I installed these on my truck for my wife who is only 5' tall. She absolutely loves them, now we take my truck on more trips than her car!
Great product! Very robust, heavy duty. Greatly assists me in getting in and out of my truck. This product reduced a single 18 inch step into two comfortable 9 inch steps. I could not be happier with the results. It also operates very quietly. I would recommend this product to any one with a tallish vehicle even if you do not have mobility issues. When I trade this truck in, it is very likely that I will buy this product again for the new truck.
We bought these when I first purchased our 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4 Door Willys last year and just now had time to install them. My husband did a fine job and it only took about 2 hours! They are amazing and look stellar! I bought these boards for my Nissan Titan prior to going the Jeep Club. I loved them so much on my Titan I had to get them for my Jeep as well!
They work well and are easy to install
PowerStep is Bad to the Bone, ha! I just installed yesterday even though I've had for a month, due to siberian air, etc. My pickup is black as are the steps, and when folded up, the untrained eye cannot even detect they are installed. They lie that flat with the contour of the bottom of the door. They are activated of course by the closing and unclosing of the door, and each works perfectly. Having steps is a big deal since my particular GMC has been elevated. Before I was afraid that I would pull the steering off while getting in. The only issue I was surprised by was there was no rubber on the step, slick metal only. However, that's not really a problem. I am extremely happy. I have a nice truck, so these powersteps are a nice touch. I do recommend a tech for installation, since I have only nominal shop skills.
Nice product a little expensive
Great product and good installation instructions
I am very happy With the function and height of the running boards. Pleased with the LED lights, did not realize they were part of the package
Only one side works. Tech support was good. did trouble shooting and found problem with obd two connection but so far have been unable to get new part ordered. mechanic is charging me for his time spent with your tech department trouble shooting. are you going to reimburse me for his time spent? And why so difficult to get replacement part?
I'm 78 and installed these myself on my 2021 Ram 1500. Took about 3 hours. Very good instructions. The only hickup was the two wires that pass thru, I had to switch them around after calling AMP. They work GREAT wish I would have put them on all my trucks.
I absolutely love my new Amp power running boards. Installation was a little challenging but I got it done and couldn’t be happier.
Install was difficult because they went on a 2023 Tacoma, not a 2022. But after much thought, they were installed and they are really very cool.
easy install, now my wife will ride in my truck. Steps stay way cleaner than the factory retracting steps on my Escalade ESV. Hard to tell they're there when retracted.
These are exactly what I was looking for from my Tacoma, have plans to lift it, and needed a step that came down a little further, they are expensive, but they are also worth every penny.
Install was a breeze. It's a nice clean look.
Great boards, fast shipping, and easy installation.
These work great, lower than factory boards, works lots better and easy to install
Shipping was very fast and installers indicated that it was routine to install.
Very Nice Clean Look , when it’s tucked underneath , you’re unable to the product and once it appears…. A bold statement is presented accompanied by lighting when it is dark out. Safety features are as they explained when closing it stops if foreign objects are in the way, then it resets.
Great product. Second pair I have installed.
They drop too low to the ground. They drop to 8 inches from the ground leaving about 14 inches from the running board to the cab. I wish the distance was more even. There is no drop adjustment.
They work perfect
They look awesome on my 2026 Ram 2500 Bighorn.
Overall it was pretty easy to install, they are expensive but worth it if you get a working package. The amp research power steps are constructed out of a better quality material than other aftermarket brands which makes it worth the extra money these ones cost. This is the second time I purchased these running boards I had them for my titan xd and now on my ram 2500 power wagon, the only problem I had was a bent driver side control arm (which was probably damaged during shipping) after installation, when retracting the step back under the cab i noticed a grinding sound so I took the control arm off to find out it was slightly bent, the metal is pretty thick I dont understand how it was able to bend like that but its not the first time receiving damaged/opend product due to fed-ex or ups. I would have rated it higher because I am satisfied for the most part but when I called for…
The item was installed on my 2025 f150, power boost by a professional installer. However, the plug and play didn’t work with my vehicle OBD-2 port. As a result I have to wait 1-2 months for the proper plug since I decided not to have the power step uninstalled. This item we’re assured to fit by the online rep that’s why I purchased it. If you have a 2025. F150, power-boost stay away from the plug and play.
Amp boasts innovation and thoughtful designs but that does not apply to the PowerSteps for the new Ford Ranger. Their knuckle-shredding, infinitely frustrating bracket design is just complete buffoonery. They give you a tiny window to tighten the bolt with and without a ratcheting wrench, you’re in for it. With the proper wrench, you are in for a painful, infuriating experience. Do better AMP. I’ve installed at least a dozen of your steps and usually find it enjoyable, you messed up on the Ranger thinking this was a good design.
Wire loom built backwards. Made challenging.
I don't know how I like the steps, I never received them after trying to buy them three times they were out of stock the first time,my money was refunded, got a call they are in stock, great send them to me paid and received a Fed x tracking number, week goes by,no steps for me,they are lost, my money return and steps reorded, guess what ,none in stock. So I can't tell you how I like the steps. I don't think anyone looks at these reviews anyway, but belive it or not, I still want the steps.
Steps are nice but installer had a hard time with installation. The truck is a 2026 and instructions only went to 2025. Called support to fix. The main computer was also bad and had to have a new one shipped to replace. The 3m tape for the lights does not hold. I have to have that fixed as well.
First of all the instructions are garbage. From they wire colors being incorrect to basically having to eyeball where to drill holes in the pinch welds. I also had to extend the wiring harness to reach the motor on passenger side. They steps have an uneven appearance to the body and was told a 3/4 difference was acceptable. After the installation was completed the driver door doesn't operate the step. I called for support and was told they had an issue with that and would ship a new OBD2 plug. I have waited 6 weeks with no new part. I called again and was told their will be an update from their app that should fix the issue but there is no definite time frame for this. They are knowing selling a defective product with no fix and expecting you to deal with it. These steps are to expensive for the quality and customer service you get. I advise you look for something else.
Overall, I’m happy with the product. The only concern so far is that the motor and gear drive are noticeably louder than I expected, and you can feel the gears engaging as the steps go up and down. It feels a bit tight or under load, which makes me wonder about long-term wear. Everything is working as it should right now, but it’s something I’ll be monitoring over time.
I purchased these steps in November now it’s the middle of January, and still have not been able to get the steps to work !!!!! One running board came damaged, not from shipping. You don’t have a whole new set , don’t have the running board , and don’t have a controller. With poor quality and zero support I’m not happy so far 😢
The only directions were to scan a QR code, it lead me to a Ram truck video get the steps put on. It had me put the brackets on backwards, ie. . . the rear brackets with the motors go on the rear for my truck, and the RAM video said to put them on the front. So I had to take the steps and brackets all off, because the pre-made wiring did not match up. Then. . . . all installed and wired and the steps operated BACKWARDS! Open the door and the steps folded up, close the door, and the steps folded down. So I had to take the connectors and the motor apart and switch the wires, to get it to operate correctly. And one week later, I already have a light out above the step. Hopefully they'll warranty that!!??
Love the steps they work great look great quality product BUT, Having them plugged into port under dash breaks communication to the trailer break system on my 2020 Chevrolet 2500 HD. Huge disappointment, I hope they figure out this issue! Unplugging them to use them with a trailer attached IS NOT an OPTION!!!
My son ordered the wrong step, it took over 8 days to get a return number! You had to wait for the manufacture to authorize a return number instead of taking care of the customer! Very poor attempt of customer service and dealing with a problem. Apparently don't know how to take care of a customers problem and deal with the manufacture afterward!
I purchased these steps for my new Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab after deciding that a fold away step would serve functionally better than the standard bolt-on steps. I had read the reviews on these steps and saw that most purchasers were happy with the overall look and function. The only downfall that was mentioned, was that the instructions could of had more clarity.I read the instructions online and determined that this was something that I could handle, I was kinda right and wrong. I received my steps and started the installation, figuring that it should take me the maximum time for installation which was 5 hours,I'm not an auto mechanic but have worked on cars, trucks, motorcycles, 4-wheelers and been an industrial mechanic. The actual installation of the hardware went pretty much as I thought, fairly well. I installed the electrical and cut down the running boards to fit and was ready…
After 2 years the motor on the passenger side running board stopped retracting fully. I contacted customer service explaining that the motor had become weak on the passenger board and when the temp gets below 30 degrees it won’t retract all the way anymore. Ivan from customer service replied telling me the product is not intended to work in such “extreme” temperatures. I explained that 30 degrees is by no means an extreme temperature and that the boards have worked fine for 2 years and even worked perfectly fine in sub zero temps before. I also told him the driver side still works fine so clearly they cash and should operate in 30 degree temps. I also said no where in there product info does it say their product will not work in temps below 30 degrees. If it had I certainly wouldn’t have bought them since 4-5 months out of the year we are below 30 degrees in Minnesota.
Their customer service is non-existent. Bought the power steps in March and have had issues with intermittent deployment on my 2023 TRX since. I checked all connections, they sent me new OBD2 connector, new module, and now have been waiting for new a harness for over 2 months! I have called and emailed with no response. Stay away if possible
So far this has been the worse purchase I’ve made, and the second most expensive mod, two thousand dollars you’d expect it to work properly, in my case total opposite, driver’s gear assembly was defective out of the box, 4-6 week back order and that was July the 10th and haven’t heard anything else since, definitely don’t feel like a valued customer.
The step is not low enough it’s still 17 in off ground I still can’t step up I asked them specifically if it was low to ground cause I was having knee surgery they promised they were low to ground. I wrote multiple messages and called they wouldn’t send me the correct running boards
Gotta say I'm kinda sad here. Installed the AMP power steps on a 2021 Silverado and they are anything but stealth looking. The sit way too low and are angled to much in order to clear the pinch weld. I was expecting these so sit fairly flat and be more hidden under the rocker panel. They stick out like a sore thumb. I took off a pair of Go Rhino DSS steps and I think I lost some clearance with the Amps due to how low they sit under the rocker . They do work as intended but they just are too visible for my liking. Ughhhh.
NOT PLUG and PLAY! installed on 2026 sequoia. the fit is great, but the wiring instructions are useless. made 3 calls to tech support to figure out. also the wire connectors provide will not work on the small wires on factory plug. also the LED lights keeping falling off bracket, total time spent installing Boards. 9 Hours
I bought a 2012 tundra in Colorado back in December. Amp research power running boards DO NOT like temperature below 0. When I start my truck at 7 am both sides freeze on the return to the rocker panel. They only "thaw" out after the sun hits them for 4 hrs.
It works it does not work, it works. Just a back and fourth cycle.
Motor wired backward, inst incorrect, missing part
These steps work very good and where time consuming to install but easy enough if you are good with this type so stuff. I’m only giving three stars because I do not feel these steps stick out far enough when stepping out of my Jeep. I have to look for them before stepping out as I can not see them when I open the door. I did think about returning them and looking for a different style step but I decided to just keep them as it was easier for me to vs. returning them. They do work well and open and close without delay.
Did not like how easy the motor housing broke drop it about five inches this should be made out of aluminum thay have the mold so it's that easy to change
Steps are ok, turned out price was a little high after I did a little more research.
Overall the product is great! But had issues with the instructions, they need to change the steps for the obd2 portions basically it’s says you can install the connector on any of open connections on the green terminals. Once I did that it didn’t work, called them and they said to move the connector to the bottom left open terminal and it’ll work. For the price I’d expect a more detailed installation instructions and or a better troubleshooting instructions.
How you have to hook up plug and play (OBD ) sucks!
Let's be realistic, these steps work well and mean really well. Unlike most all other side steps, when opened, they sit a a level conducive to easy entry and exit. Virtually all other nerf bar, rock slider steps that I've ever had always sit too high making using them actually a chore rather than a pleasure. More often than not, when using any side step other than AMP, I would simply exit my trucks avoiding stepping on them either on the way into or out of the truck. Upon entering, if I used the step I would almost always be standing too high to get into the seat without crouching so as not to smack my noggin on the roof. In addition, when the doors are closed and the AMP step retracts, it sits flush with the bottom panel making it virtually invisible while allowing for greater clearance vs all others. This is my 2nd set of AMP power steps (both times I purchased the original model)…
Install was straight forward. Only issue was the step was hitting the parking brake cable upon return. I called for technical assistance, issue was not resolved so I wrapped the arm linkage with rubber so it have metal to metal contact. Would have liked better tech support because my mother was complaining about the noise it was making upon return. I’ll try more self remedies my next visit.
Instructions needs revision for 2026 Ram 1500
Install took several hours and I would not call it easy. The instructions were great but I did watch a couple of videos online. The step are well made and fit great. I really like that the folding action is fast but it is a little noisy when they hit. Overall they are great but I give it a 4 because they arrived damaged and the install was a job.
Love the steps but the instructions need updating
Wire harness not long enough both sides, hex head bolts strip out to easy.
