Description & Fitment
The ATB A-PE51 is a long aluminum panel box for semi trailers, mounted under the deck with ATB's M2600UD bracket kit. A single smooth aluminum drop-open door spans the front, hung on a full-length stainless steel hinge with a reinforced door frame. It locks with a stainless Dolphin Tail T-handle latch and seals with a concealed rain gutter. Six sizes run 12" to 18" high and 20" to 48" in the catalog's width column, all 101" in its depth column.
Fitment & Compatibility
How to choose: measure the open space under the trailer deck and between the frame members, then compare it with the size table. Every A-PE51 measures 101" in ATB's depth column; heights run 12" to 18" and widths 20" to 48".
Mounting: the M2600UD series under-deck bracket kit is sold separately; ATB rates three bracket sets for 750 lb and five for 1,250 lb.
Stainless steel door chains are an ATB option.

How do I measure for it?
Measure the open height, depth and width under the trailer deck where the box will hang and compare them with the table. Leave room for the door to drop open.
Is a mounting kit included?
No. It mounts with ATB's M2600UD series under-deck bracket kit, sold separately.
What lock does it use?
A lockable stainless steel Dolphin Tail heavy-duty adjustable T-handle latch.
Will it keep water out?

Installation

Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list and make sure there is room under the deck for the box.
- Move the box into its under-deck position to confirm it fits there.
- Set the box aside. Fit a washer and lock nut on each rod until the thread shows 1/4" past the nut, slide the rod through the top bracket and fit the top clamp bracket between the trailer I-beams. Repeat for every bracket set.
- Use three bracket sets for up to 750 lb or five for 1,250 lb, with the outside sets as far out on the trailer as possible and one in the center.
- Fit the top bracket and top center clamp, insert the bolt with a washer on both ends and secure it with a nylon lock nut.
- Secure the remaining nut on each bracket set.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
