Description & Fitment
The ATB A-SG41 is a .100 aluminum utility box in an all diamond tread plate finish, for truck rails, flatbeds and trailers. Its reinforced single drop door rides on heavy duty gas springs, a stainless coated cable and a continuous stainless hinge, with weatherstrip around the opening. ATB's keyed, padlockable Dolphin Tail DT-T-handle lock secures it, and ATB builds it in the USA.

How to choose: measure the space for the width (18" to 72"), depth and height; leave room for the drop door to open fully.
SD in the part number means single drop door.
Mounting kits are separate: ATB lists M2000 and M2450UD Series brackets, frame kits M2000C/M2000I/M2100C/M2100I and under-deck kits M32236D/M2248D.

Will it fit my truck or trailer?
It mounts on a rail, flatbed or flat deck. Measure the available space and compare with the size table, then choose the matching ATB mounting kit.
Where can it be mounted?
ATB says SG Series boxes mount on a truck rail, a flatbed, or any flat surface of a truck or trailer.
Is a mounting kit included?
No. ATB lists the M2000 Series and M2450UD Series brackets; for C- or I-frame mounting, M2000C, M2000I, M2100C or M2100I; for under-deck mounting, M32236D or M2248D.
How do I choose a size?
Measure the space you have for the width, depth and height, allowing room for the drop door to swing fully open.
Can I add a padlock?
Yes. ATB's Dolphin Tail locks are keyed and padlockable.
How do I care for the finish?
Wash the aluminum with mild soap and water and rinse off road salt. ATB's powder-coated finishes use a durable undercoat and topcoat; avoid harsh abrasives on them.
Installation
- 1/2" ratchet wrench

- 3/8" drill bit
Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list and make sure there is room to mount the box.
- Set the box where it will mount to confirm the fit. The box is not predrilled; drill as close to its outside edges as possible.
- For a bed mount use an M2200 series bracket, for a frame mount an M2000 or M2100 series bracket; install the bracket first.
- Mark four holes on the box bottom and drill them with a 3/8" bit, then set the box back and mark the pattern on the mounting surface or brackets.
- Remove the box and drill four 3/8" holes at the marks.
- Fit the bolts with washers from the box side through the surface or bracket, add a flat washer and lock nut and tighten securely.

ATB covers its standard truck boxes with a 60-month (5-year) limited warranty for the original purchaser; it is not transferable.- For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will work it through with ATB.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
