Description & Fitment
The ATB A-SG41 is a .100 aluminum topside utility box in an all diamond tread plate finish that mounts along a truck rail or flatbed. Single or double top hinged doors open wide on heavy-duty gas springs and a continuous stainless steel hinge. ATB's dolphin tail DT-handle locks take a key or a padlock, and each box comes with weatherstrip and all stainless hardware. The mounting kit is sold separately.
Fitment & Compatibility
How to choose: measure the rail or flatbed edge where the box will sit; the width in the table (63" to 96") is the box length. Then pick the height (16" to 24") and depth (14" to 18") that suit your bed.
Doors: ST part numbers have a single top hinged door, DT part numbers double top hinged doors.
Order a mounting kit separately: ATB lists the M3200D, M3500T and M3500TT.

How do I measure for a topside box?

Does it come with a mounting kit?
No. ATB lists the M3200D, M3500T and M3500TT mounting kits separately.
What do ST and DT mean in the part number?
ST part numbers have a single top hinged door; DT part numbers have double top hinged doors.
How do the locks work?
ATB's dolphin tail DT-handle locks take a key and can also be padlocked.

Installation
- 1/2" to 9/16" ratchet wrench

Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list, then set the box on the bed rail behind the cab and square it.
- Mark the rail area, flip the box over and drill three holes in the box bottom centered on the rail (check the rail is drillable there). Apply the 3" rubber strip.
- Set the box back on the rails, shim it off the fender with small wood pieces, mark the holes and drill through the truck rail.
- Fit the three bolts from inside the box with a washer each side and a lock nut, and tighten securely.
- Assemble the two side brackets, square them, mark and drill the box back with a 5/16" bit, bolt them on and fit the three self-drilling screws at each bracket bottom.
- If M3500TT top cross brackets are used, bolt them across the tops of both boxes; with an over-cab ladder rack the box tops can bolt to the rack instead.

ATB covers its standard truck boxes with a 60-month (5-year) limited warranty for the original purchaser; it is not transferable.- For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will work it through with ATB.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
