Description & Fitment
The ATB A-SG42 is a .100 aluminum diamond tread topside box that sits on the bed rail with a raised drop-open door for maximum opening space. Doors hang on heavy-duty support cables and a continuous stainless steel hinge, and all hardware is stainless. ATB Heavy Duty Dolphin Tail DT-T-handle locks take a key or a padlock. It comes with a reinforced door, weatherstrip and locks, in single and double door sizes from 63" to 96".
Fitment & Compatibility
How to choose: measure the bed length along the rail, the bed depth you can give up (14" or 16"), and any height limit, then match the H x D x W size.
SD sizes have a single raised door; DD sizes have two. Order an M3200D, M3500T or M3500TT mounting kit separately.

How do I measure for a topside box?

Shorter sizes have one raised drop-open door (SD); longer sizes have two (DD).
Is the mounting kit included?
No. ATB lists the M3200D, M3500T and M3500TT kits, sold separately.
What locks does it use?
ATB Heavy Duty Dolphin Tail DT-T-handle locks, which take a key or a padlock.
What is in the box?

Installation
- 1/2" to 9/16" ratchet wrench
- 1/2" to 9/16" wrench
- Tape measure
- Drill
- 5/16" drill bit
- Square
Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list, then set the box on the bed rail behind the cab and square it.
- Mark the rail area, flip the box over and drill three holes in the box bottom centered on the rail (check the rail is drillable there). Apply the 3" rubber strip.
- Set the box back on the rails, shim it off the fender with small wood pieces, mark the holes and drill through the truck rail.
- Fit the three bolts from inside the box with a washer each side and a lock nut, and tighten securely.
- Assemble the two side brackets, square them, mark and drill the box back with a 5/16" bit, bolt them on and fit the three self-drilling screws at each bracket bottom.
- If M3500TT top cross brackets are used, bolt them across the tops of both boxes; with an over-cab ladder rack the box tops can bolt to the rack instead.

ATB covers its standard truck boxes with a 60-month (5-year) limited warranty for the original purchaser; it is not transferable.- For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will work it through with ATB.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
