Description & Fitment
The ATB S-AF41 is a 14 gauge steel tongue box for the A-frame of a trailer, with angled sides and lid that follow the frame. Its single top lid opens on self-powered gas springs and closes with a tamper-resistant lift handle lock. ATB powder coats it in textured black over an undercoat and rates it super heavy duty. Five sizes run from 14" to 24" tall, the M3300F mounting kit is included, and it is built in the USA.

How do I measure my trailer tongue?
Measure the open space on the A-frame ahead of the jack and coupler, front to back for depth and across for width, and check the height you can fit without blocking the jack or hitch.
Is a mounting kit included?
Yes. ATB includes the M3300F mounting kit.
Why are the sides angled?
ATB angles the sides and lid to match the shape of a trailer A-frame.
What lock does it use?
A tamper-resistant lift handle lock with a stainless steel pull handle.
How do I care for the powder coat?
Wash with mild soap and water and touch up chips early so the steel underneath stays protected.
Installation
- 5/16" nut setter tip

- 1/4" drill bit
Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list and make sure there is room to mount the box.
- Set the box on the trailer A-frame to confirm the fit. The box is not predrilled.
- Outline both frame rails on the box bottom, remove the box and turn it upside down on a pad.
- Draw a center line between each pair of outline marks and mark three holes per side, one centered and two as far to the outside edges as possible; drill all six with a 1/4" bit.
- Apply a 3" rubber strip along each center line for the full box length.
- Set the box back on the A-frame and drive the six self-drilling screws with washers using a drill and nut setter.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
