Description & Fitment
The ATB S-CP41 is a 14 gauge steel cross-pack backpack box that ATB calls super heavy duty, built for behind-cab storage on work trucks. Four side-open doors hold open on gas springs and lock with stainless DT-handles. Inside are two full-length shelves and four hooks, and a built-in frame with mounting rails bolts behind the cab. It is powder coated textured black and built in Blanchard, North Dakota.

How do I choose a size?
Measure the frame space behind the cab and the height you can use (55" to 70" tall), then compare with the sizes in the table; every size is 24" wide.
How do I care for the powder coat?
Wash with mild soap and water and rinse off road salt. ATB powder coats its steel boxes with a durable undercoat and topcoat; touch up any chips promptly to keep the steel protected.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list.
- Fit the U-bolts and tie bars to the frame with 5/8" lock washers and nuts, keeping the box at least 3" from the cab, and torque each nut to 90-100 ft-lbs.
- On 2017 and newer Ford F350-F550 cab and chassis (M3460C kit), first bolt the mount bracket to the rear cab mounting bracket and drill its top holes with a 3/8" bit, tightening to 65-70 ft-lbs.
- Put a 5/8" flat washer on each nut and lower the cross-pack over the U-bolts.
- Check the box is square to the frame with at least 2-3/4" cab clearance; add flat washers to adjust the angle if needed.
- Fasten the box with flat washers, springs and lock nuts, tightening each nut until its spring compresses 1/2".

ATB covers its standard truck boxes with a 60-month (5-year) limited warranty for the original purchaser; it is not transferable.- For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will work it through with ATB.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
