- 14 Gauge Steel Build: ATB builds the S-DU42 from 14 gauge high strength steel, fully seam welded on all seams and corners; ATB calls its drawer boxes super heavy duty.
- Straight Top With Gas Springs: The straight top has double top hinged doors, channel braced and reinforced, that open with the help of gas springs and leave a deep opening for getting cargo out.
- Triple 200 lb Drawers: Three bottom drawers run on heavy duty slides; each is rated for 200 lb and has rubber matting and adjustable, removable dividers.
- Dolphin Tail T-Handle Lock: A lockable stainless steel Dolphin Tail heavy duty adjustable T-handle latch secures the doors; ATB says it is tamper resistant.
- Concealed Rain Gutter: A fully concealed rain gutter and an automotive-type weather seal help keep water and road spray out of the box.
- Primer and Powder Coat: The steel gets a zinc epoxy primer and a baked powder topcoat in textured black, and each door swings on a full-length stainless steel continuous hinge.
Description & Fitment
The ATB S-DU42 is a steel drawer utility box with a straight top, double top hinged doors and three bottom drawers for decks, flatbeds and service bodies. It is built from 14 gauge high strength steel finished in textured black powder coat and fully seam welded. The doors open on gas springs and lock with a stainless steel Dolphin Tail T-handle latch, and each drawer is rated for 200 lb. It is made in the USA.
Fitment & Compatibility
How to choose: measure the flat mounting area on your deck or flatbed (the width you can spare, the depth front to back) and the height you can allow above the deck, then pick a size that fits with room for the doors to open.
The 21" tall boxes have 7.75" drawers and come 14" or 16" deep; the 28" tall boxes have 9.75" drawers and come 20" deep. Widths: 72", 82", 94". The version table lists drawer width, door opening and weight for each size.
ATB sells the mounting kit separately; it lists M3200D-DU3 as the standard kit for this triple drawer box.

Will it fit my truck?
The S-DU42 top mounts on a flat surface such as a flatbed, deck or service body. Compare the box width, depth and height with your mounting area, allow for the weight of the box and its contents, and contact us if you want a second check.
Does the S-DU42 come with a mounting kit?
No. ATB sells the mounting kit separately; it lists M3200D-DU3 as the standard kit for this triple drawer box. Contact us and we can add the kit to your order.
How much weight can a drawer hold?
ATB rates each drawer for 200 lb. The drawers ride on heavy duty slides and come with rubber matting and adjustable, removable dividers.
How do I measure for a drawer utility box?
Measure the flat area where the box will sit: the width you can give it, the depth front to back and the height you can allow above the deck. Then check the box weight and door opening in the version table before you pick a size.
Will it keep water out?
The doors close over a fully concealed rain gutter with an automotive-type weather seal, which ATB uses to keep its drawer boxes water-tight.
Can I pair it with other ATB top mount boxes?
Yes. ATB says its DU Series drawer boxes can be used together with its CGD and DM Series top mount boxes. An inside shelf is also offered as an option; contact us if you want one.
Installation
- 1/2" ratchet wrench

- Drill with 3/8" bit
Here's the short version. Follow ATB's install sheet (below) for your truck's exact positions and hardware.
- Check all parts against the parts list and look over the mounting area to make sure there is room for the box.
- Set the box on the flat surface where it will mount to confirm the fit. The box has no predrilled holes; drill as close to the outside edges of the box as possible.
- Remove the box, mark four holes on the outside bottom of the box and drill them with a 3/8" bit.
- Set the box back in position and mark the drilled hole pattern onto the mounting surface.
- Remove the box and drill four 3/8" holes at the marks, following the truck maker's shop manual for drilling.
- Insert the bolts with washers from the box side through the mounting surface, add a flat washer and lock nut underneath, and tighten all nuts securely.

ATB covers its standard truck boxes with a 60-month (5-year) limited warranty for the original purchaser; it is not transferable.- For a warranty claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will work it through with ATB.

Inspect on delivery
Check the box when the freight arrives, before the driver leaves: look over the lids, doors, corners and welds for dents, scratches or shipping damage. Note any damage on the delivery receipt and send us photos. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
- Email support@prestigetruck.com right away with your order number, a short note and photos. We send a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
