Extang Trifecta 2.0 Soft Folding Tonneau Cover for 2011-2026 Ram 1500 / 1500 Classic / 2500 / 3500 (6'4" Bed, without RamBox)

Love the tri-fold

Installed quickly, it took me longer to read thru the instructions than to install. With the instructions also comes a parts sheet, I also like that going forward I can order every thing as a replacement part. I would buy another one again if I need to.

It should work

It was easy to install, all the pieces were there and worked as advertised. I have a 2021 Ram 2500 and I noticed on the description that it said this one was only for the classic body style. I couldn't find out what that was and did not find any other body styles besides mine for 2021, so I bought it. It just barely reaches the edges, all four, so only one or two of the seals are in contact with the truck. But it seems to keep most of the weather out, so I'll stick with it.

B I N G O

I wanted a semi to hard cover for the new Tundra, asked the Toyota fam and everyone said 2.0. Install took longer to read than it did to install, super simple and easy. Thought bed rails would be an issue, they make it easier to use. Not 100% water tight, but 95-97% is a fair enough score. Put 6000+ miles on it in a month and this was the first purchase.

truck bed cover

easy to install, easy to fold back, fits well on Nissan Frontier

Best cover on the market

I had one on my other truck for 13 years so when I traded trucks I immediately ordered one for my new truck.

Leaky cover

I've had this same kind of cover for my old truck for 10 years and haven't had a single issue. This new cover is a bit disappointing. The locking springs are annoying to set in place. I have an issue with water intruding into my tailgate, and I have a minor defect in my cover, almost like a little bubble.

Extang trifold soft

This is the 4th Extang soft trifold cover I’ve owned. Overall pretty good except the upfront clamps are smaller than my last cover which allows it to shift from where I originally had it tightened. The rear clamps tend to be a little fidgety when clamping. The driverside clamp will not hold down tightly and allows water to come in under the rubber side rail seal. When winter comes I’m sure snow will blow in as well. I don’t think I’d buy another of this brand, especially for the premium price I paid.

Installed in minutes. Looks and works terrific!

'95 F150 short bed just finished for Christmas. The Extang Trifecta 2.0 Tonneau Cover installed in minutes and looks awesome!

This used to be a good product

This is still an okay product, but most of it is plastic. The components that are used to cramp the top to the bed of the bed of the truck are cheaply made. Pulling down the handles to slide under the rail, the mechanism does not adjust correctly. The older version worked perfectly every time. This product has stepped backwards in quality.

2002 F-150

Nice cover and installation was easy. My brother in law has the Extang Trifecta cover on his truck as well and is happy with it also.

Been very happy so far.

Been very happy so far. It seals rain, snow and dirt out.

Love it !!

I really love the cover and it came quickly and is an exact fit . It was easy to install and looks great. It is very quick and easy to fold back or even remove the entire thing by myself. I am just very pleased with this product and the price was right.

Tonneau cover

Good quality & customer service with small issue that we had.

Third Trifecta

This is our fourth Extang and third Trifecta. They stand behind their warranty. Not crazy about the hold down latch redesign, but otherwise still a great product.

Love the Extang Trifecta 2.0 Bed Cover

Looks awesome and easy to install!!! Highly recommend it!

Rxtang trifecta 2.0

Perfect cover just what I anticipated very pleased. Would recommend this cover.

Looks great, installation instructions a

Looks great, installation instructions a little lacking in clarity but installation not bad.

Junk

The vinyl cover is not taut and flaps at high speed.

Great product

I like how easy it is to remove, just two wing nuts that only need to be hand tightened. I had a concern with snow and ice making it difficult to use in the winter. It’s been no problem at all, the snow and ice don’t stick to the material and cleans off nice.

Works well

It fits my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado crew cab new body style perfectly. I was slightly worried that the back wouldn’t snug down right along the tailgate since the clamps sit farther forward than I would like. It comes with 2 sets of brackets you can bolt to your truck so that it does latch down farther back, but I elected to use the existing rails on my truck rather than installing new brackets. I’ve taken it through the car wash 8 times since installing it and I only get minimal drops of water on the tailgate end. Happy with it and would buy it again.

Great quality

Easy to put on and looks good

Extang Trifecta 2.0 Cover For 2018 GMC Denali

Ordered cover on a Sunday and received on the following Wednesday. Excellent quality, easily installed by myself within 30 minutes and order processed and shipped very quickly. Wouldn't hesitate to order again.

Love My Extang Trifecta

I purchased an Extang Trifecta cover for an F 150 Lariat I bought new in 2010. Great cover, never leaked and after 9 years of hot- sunny North Carolina summers was still in good condition. I just traded the truck in on a new 2019 F 150 King Ranch and didn't consider another brand! Great cover. Love it.

2013 Tacoma

Perfect fit? Easy on. easy off.

Nice Soft Trifold

I like soft trifold covers for a number of reasons, including that they require no rails, no modifications to the truck, look great, and install remove quickly and easily. I had one on my last truck that was perfect after 10 years of use that was sold as a GM accessory but I suspect was made by this company. This trifold is a quality product and installed in about three minutes. The extra minute over the two it usually takes to put on was adjusting the clamps for the first time. I like the look of it and the updated clamps and straps work better than my old one. It allows you options for how you want to use the truck bed, folded up toward the front of simply removed completely. For less than half the price of a hard trifold and what I think is a better looking tonneau cover, this one is a great choice.

I really love my covertop

I really love my covertop

Excellent cover

Easy install, looks great. Not a complete water tight seal, but it works great keeping the rain water out. Went through the car wash and it let very little water in. Worked better than I expected.

Good Quality, Good Warranty, Easy

Good Quality, Good Warranty, Easy Installation & Removal, Looks Excellent.

Great product truck looks good

Great product truck looks good

Not what Extang used to be

The rear spring latches constantly stick and when you actually get them to draw tight they do not stay that way. I am always having to mess with them so the cover doesn't flutter. The other thing is that the corner foam seems to always fall off. Luckily I catch it and stick them back on. I do not remember having these problems with my old Extang branded cover. I guess that's what you get when private equity takes over.

Fantastic product, Back of truck

Fantastic product, Back of truck is almost totally water proof and installation was easy. It removes in less than a minute an is back on in less than that.

Trifecta 2.0 Tonneau Cover Dodge Ram Box

Beyond expectations

It was easy to install and it is secure. Exactly fits and looks great!

Quick service and delivery my third one

Super Cover

The cover came quickly and in perfect shape. The customer service during my order was terrific also. The new cover looks great fit perfectly and keeps the truck bed dry as can be and we have experienced some bad rain storms here in the East. I highly recommend this cover it is my second one in 14 years. Installed the cover in 5 minutes.

Trifecta 2.0 Cover

This is the 2nd cover that I have ordered. The first one had been on my truck since 2012 and lasted almost 11 years in the hot South Florida Sun. Really good product !

Light duty, slow delivery

Installation was a breeze, thats about all the good. This is an extremely light duty cover. Unlike most similar covers, this on attaches in the middle of the 1st panel to the sides of the bed, not the front/ bulkhead. The front panel can not be lifted, it has to be removed. I will be modifying mine with a piano hinge and some reinforcement to allow the first panel to raise - letting the cover fold flat against the back glass. Use the full bed when needed without having to find somewhere to stow the cover. Shipping took a full month longer than advertised, HD management was nice enough to partially discount it flr my trouble - great staff, great store - mediocre product from a less than stellar 3rd party vendor.

Bed cover

Love it! This is my second one if this product. They hold up great, look great and see very easy to install and use.

Trifecta 2.0

Well built, easy to install, looks great, I think I will be very happy with it over the long haul.

TACO cover

It was a little bit of a challenge to install by myself but I got it done and I'm very happy with it.

Trifecta cover for 2023 Ram 1500

Cover fits perfectly on my new truck. Easy to operate and keeps everything dry.

Bed cover

Easy to install great looking

Trifecta 2.0

We love the Trifecta 2.0 for our Ridgeline So easy to operate and it looks amazing!

Does the job

Easy to install, looks good and does the intended job. The back stays dry and gas mileage is averaging about 1.2 miles per gallon better than before using the cover. While the hard cover may look better, the weight of the cover makes the trifecta 2.0 cover so much easier to take off when then entire bed is needed to haul something. Additionally, the cost is much more appealing.

Everything I’d hoped.

I was really drawn to the ease of taking this thing on and off. I wanted it to potentially help with fuel economy, and to keep things in my bed from blowing out or being pilfered, but I also often haul piles of logs and such, so I needed to be able to remove and reinstall it often and easily. In this regard it couldn’t be simpler, no sweat at all. Additionally it feels high quality and looks great.

Excellent

Bought the Trifecta 2. 0 soft folding cover for my GMC Sierra Denali and am very pleased. High quality, perfect fit, and very easy one person installation. Engineered design is excellent 👍

Trip

So far so good, 1700 mile trip and all was dry!

The cover is excellent and met all my expectations.

Installation was a breeze and the quality is excellent. The price was very fair as well.

Expected better.

I was hoping that it would keep most of the water out when it rains, but it gets wet inside the bed to where I have to open the tailgate to let it dry out before mold grows. Don't let those weather strips fool you, they don't work. Just a little disappointed for the amount of money I spent on it.

Excellent choice for Honda Ridgeline

Easy to install. Very little rain leakage but not 100% waterproof. I still have full use of my bed trunk with the side rails installed. . Yes I would definitely purchase this again.

Easy to install. Easy to

Easy to install. Easy to operate. Kept our luggage from getting wet when it rained which is the reason why we purchased this cover.

Looks Very Rugged

Purchased for a 2025 Ford Ranger. My local detailing shop recommended this brand and model. Fits well. Shortly after installing, I got caught in heaving rain storms. I looked inside the bed afterwards and it was completely dry inside.

Tonneau Cover

Purchase of this item is always the answer for bed coverage.

Awesome

Easy to install and great addition to truck thus far. Fast delivery.

The cover came promptly to

The cover came promptly to my house, only issue I have is that my bed liner has gaps at the front of the bed allowing water to get in the bed, nothing major, just wish the seal was a little thicker.

No instructions

I am not an engineer but after 2 hours I was able to get it installed

Trifecta 2. 0

Looks great on my 2000 S10 Xtreme

Tonneau for 2026 Tacoma

Fast shipping, easy install and perfect fit!

Extang Trifecta 2. 0

I purchased this as a replacement for my 2012 Trifecta because of hail damage. It fits and looks great, but the rear hold down hooks are very weak and allow for to much flutter driving down the road. I swapped the hold down hooks from my old cover with the new. Much better. They really need to fix that.

Beautiful Tonneau Cober

This cover is an upgrade over the soft folding cover I bought for my previous truck. It doesn’t show the hinge points or supports and the quality of vinyl is heavier than before. As satisfied as I was with the previous cover, I’m doubly pleased with this one.

Great Cover----But

I received the cover and was very satisfied with the quality, ease of installing and final appearance. From box to finish in less than ten minutes. I do have one comment though. The front clamps should be farther forward to make a tighter fit. I've noticed that the front of the cover can still be pushed down making for a tighter seal. An additional rail between the front and second cross piece with the rail clamp slide adjustable on it would do the trick.

Quality replacement

Purchased the 2. 0 to replace my original Trifecta bought new in 2016. The covers are identical in fit, structure, and durability. Only difference is the rear hold downs aren't as robust as the original.

Extang tonneau

Seems like good quality. Let’s see if it last as well as the last one I got 13 years out of.

Trifecta 2. 0

This is the 4th cover I bought. It is the best one. The fit is perfect. Easy to install. Customer service were easy to reach and very helpful.

Nissan Frontier

Excellent fit and finish. Easily installed and adds to the appearance of the truck.

Great Product

Bought for my son's truck, perfect size, easy to install and looks great!

Great Price

Compared to other places this is a better deal. The cover is great. Looks good and is way easy to lock in place

Not quite right…

2023 Ford F-150 Lightning. I’ve had the cover for about 3 months now, and have leak experience. IMHO, the cover could/should be about 3/4”-1” longer than delivered. Trying to balance the coverage of the seals with the slight arc of the bed at the back of the cab, and getting enough sealing surface at the tailgate is challenging. Again, another inch longer would be ideal. I agree with other reviewers that the spring loaded latches are weaker/cheaper than past models…not as robust or dependable. The hardware at the cab to attach the cover looks great, but I have to check it every month or so because it loosens and does not function as intended. For someone on a budget looking for an entry-level cover, this may work. For everyone else who is looking for a quality cover, you may want to pass this one by. My old one NEVER leaked.

Bought to replace a roll

Bought to replace a roll up tonneau.... so much nicer

Extang Trifecta 2.0

Quick, simple install. Effective protection for the bed, with an excellent look.....

Newly Purchased

I had one of these on my 2008 F150 and I was extremely happy with my purchase. I recently purchased one for my 2019 chevy and I am not so happy. It is not as well built as the old one and the new one holds water when it rains.

Not a bad product but doesn’t fit well

Awkward install. Looks good but doesn’t completely close off.

Looks nice however

The clamps do not hold the tonneau cover in place it is not possible to tighten it enough and it always moves. I wish there were better clamps to hold it in place. Very disappointed.

While the fit is good

While the fit is good and the cover material appears to be strong enough for snow load, in my opinion there should be more cross supports, and the hinges and latches more robust as these were the problem areas in my previous Extang Trifecta cover and they appear to be even more lightweight . will have to see how it handles below 0 temps and snow.

Folding Tonneau Cover

The box was damaged and partially open so I was skeptical whether it was damaged. All was good but I had to go online to get the installation instructions. Simple install with attached levers. No tools required. What I don't like is how tight the tailgate end is. It will deteriorate the paint on the tailgate over time. Wish there was an adjustment. Other than that it looks good and performs well. Easy removal if needed. Light weight is a positive.

Not what it used to be

I had this same cover on a 21 ram. Held up great and build seems like it was better. Put this new one on my gmc and after a week I had to fold it up and had aluminum shavings along the bed tops. Must have been in the tubes of the tonneau cover and the quick latch don’t seem as sturdy as the older model. Also a f you have the Chevy fold out step tailgate, the grab bar near the back of the bed is exactly where the rear clamp of the cover has to grab. It’s super tight fit. Kinda a pain

2,0 No Upgrade

This is my third trifecta bed cover. The first two were the original. Seems as though the vinyl is made thinner as well as the braces. Flaps more than the old ones ever did. Now has a raised center support looked much cleaner and gave better appearance when it was flat. 2.0 definitely not what I’d consider an upgrade 😟

The hardware kit was missing

The hardware kit was missing two washers for the bulkhead accessory rail. I ordered another kit but it also only came with four washers, it kit directions showed six. But with the washers out of but kits I was able to get rail and cover installed. Looks good!

It’s so easy! Good framing!

It’s so easy! Good framing! A little on the expensive side.

Great cover but…,

Great cover for my 2001 Tacoma BUT it does not fit with a Tacoma bed liner in place …

Good Cover for a Great Price

item was missing a corner piece of foam upon arrival, but I expect customer service to take care of it for me. Spring Levers have just enough power to hold the cover down- I'd like to see it have a tad more spring power.

Great cover, but needs better rear latches

Everything is great on this cover. It’s easy to install and easy to open or remove. My only 2 complaints are that it could be an inch or two longer and in very windy conditions the rear latches become in fastened and the cover jumps around. I had this happen when on the highway when the cover was only 2 months old. Other than this it is built well!

Not pleased

Not pleased

Looks and fits nicely.

Simple install, looks great, functions well. Happy with product.

Disappointment ……

I as so happy to get a cover on my new truck. Once installed it looked great. Then I tried to access tool box and they will not open with the cover on

The cover was damaged when it was delivered. It's been reordered. The new estimated delivery date was a week ago. It has not been delivered. If it's not delivered soon I will be cancelling the order.

Unhappy

My cover does not sit flat on my truck. Many adjustments made and still won’t lay flat on the end by the tailgate. Working via email with Extang customer support. Waiting to hear what they will do about it.

does not fit right it

does not fit right it is to long for ram 2012 power wagon have to send it back crew cab

Water puddling on top after rain

I have had this cover for 3 months and every time it rains water puddles on the top between braces. I replaced a 8 year old exrang with this one. I had no issues with water on the older one. I think the problem is when i close it it don't pull tight enough. Ertang is sending me a new one but can't guarantee i wont have the same problem.

Not the quality I was expecting.

It leaks. Cannot be returned.

Poor Fit

The Trifecta 2.0 Tonneau cover is the worst fit I have ever seen, there is absolutely no way to get it to fit squarely on my truck. To say the least I am very disappointed in this product.

Not worth the money spent.

The cover is does not hold up to the rainy weather. Cover started developing ripples length wise. For the price I paid I would of been better going with another brand. I was also misled by the 30 day return policy. It only applies if the cover was never installed. Very disappointed with their return policy.

STEER CLEAR!!!!

On in 5 minutes cheap vinyl and can be cut easily. Sits crooked because the lock tabs bend the truck bed thin metal because you need to keep it tight. Im worried it will fly off at 80 mph. I may get sued at some point. Cheap GARBAGE

POOR FIT

I bought this to keep things dry and not dusty in the back of my truck. It fits terrible, leaks everywhere, front and back. The corners don't fit good so it leaks there at all four corners.

2019 Ram Crew Cab

If you like a cover that flaps in the wind then this one is for you. I would not recommend this cover for this reason. I think if it had a support bar in the area that the air is deflected and pushes down on the cover, it may help this problem. I have had other Extang covers and this will probably be my last.

The front corner on the

The front corner on the passenger side doesn't sit down flush with the bed rail. Even though there is a gasket system underneath there is still space for water to enter because of the gap. Maybe the clamps need to be closer to the front of the cover to get a better seal. Not impressed with the clamps at the front and again, the seal they make.

Not what they used to be

After owning these covers for years I switched to another brand. In pure disappointment in the un named brand i went back to an Extang. The cover itself looks ok but the clamps to hold it down are junk and typically do not spring back correctly leaving the cover loose. Next time I will be trying anther brand

Not tight at the rear

Not tight at the rear at freeway with rain, water comes in

Indecisive over the original but still a great cover.

Having owned the original and now the 2.0 I can say that I don’t think the 2.0 seals as well in the front and the rear latches are still a little weak in my opinion. It is a beautiful cover though and does its job fairly well. I’m still split on whether I like the latches camming over on the 2.0 now or not. Doesn’t seem to be a downside yet to this new feature. The rear latches can be adjusted with a ratchet though to achieve more tension on the tail of the cover but I couldn’t get the fronts to seat as tightly like the original.
