- Drop Steps Closer to the Ground: Instead of a straight tube, the HDX Drop sets its step areas down below the bar, so the first step into a lifted or tall cab is shorter. Each step area is a heavy-duty punch plate that Westin builds for high traction.
- Solid One-Piece Construction: Each side is one solid piece with the drop steps built in, not a bar with bolt-on pads. The bar sits tight to the rocker panel for a solid fit, and Westin notes the steel construction helps protect the rocker panels from damage.

Description & Fitment
Westin HDX Drop Nerf Step Bars for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra Crew Cab trucks, from the 2001-2006 heavy-duty and 1500 HD crew cabs through the 2004-2013 1500 and the 2001-2019 2500 HD. These are cab-length, body-mount bars in powder coated textured black steel, with drop steps at each of the four doors. A GM crew cab mount kit and hardware are included, and the steel bars carry Westin's 3-year limited warranty.
