Features
- 2" Tube Wraparound Wings: Westin wraps the front corners with full wraparound wings made of heavy-duty 2" diameter tube, so the headlights and fender edges sit behind steel, not just the grille.
- Full Punch-Plate Grille: A full punch-plate grille fills the center of the guard and covers the truck's grille area, a solid barrier against brush, debris and low-speed bumps.
- Rubber-Capped Uprights: The uprights are finished with extra-wide rubber strips, 1/8" thick and 2-3/4" wide, for a clean look and an added buffer where the bars take contact.
- Fully Welded 1-Piece Frame: The HDX Grille Guard is fully welded as one piece, headlight guards included, so there are no bolted joints in the guard itself to loosen or rattle.
- Mount Kit and Hardware Included: Each guard ships with a mount kit and hardware made for its truck application. Brackets attach to the vehicle and the guard bolts to the brackets.
- Westin HDX Line: Westin calls the HDX Grille Guard the ultimate in extreme truck gear. It is offered in black powder coat and, for many trucks, polished stainless steel.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit a 2023 Sierra 1500?
No. Westin lists this guard through the 2022 Sierra 1500 Limited only.
What is the difference between the Black and Polished Stainless versions?
The finish and material. Black is powder-coated steel with a 3-year Westin warranty; polished is stainless steel with a lifetime Westin warranty. Fit and design are the same for a given truck.
How is the HDX Grille Guard different from the HDX 3-piece?
This HDX Grille Guard is fully welded as one piece with welded headlight guards. Westin's HDX 3-piece grille guard has bolt-on headlight guards.
Can I mount a winch on it?
No. This is the standard HDX Grille Guard. Westin makes the HDX Winch Mount Grille Guard, with a winch tray that mounts to the frame, as a separate product.
What if my truck has front parking sensors or a front camera?
Westin lists some trucks with separate sensor or camera versions, and offers a sensor re-locator for some applications. Check the notes on your truck's listing, or contact us before ordering.
What comes in the box?
The 1-piece guard plus the mount kit and hardware for your truck application.
