Molded Pro Traxx Step Pads
4-Inch Oval Tube
Vehicle-Specific Brackets
Features
- Molded Pro Traxx Step Pads: Westin's 4"-wide injection-molded polymer step pads sit on top of the 4" oval tube, with a raised traction pattern that gives a wider, surer footing than a bare tube.
- 4-Inch Oval Tube: The 4" oval tube keeps a slim profile along the cab while leaving plenty of flat area for the step pads, a size Westin builds for full-size and midsize trucks and SUVs.
- Vehicle-Specific Brackets: Each Pro-Traxx 4 listing is built for one truck and cab. Westin includes the vehicle-specific mount kit, and the bars bolt on with no drilling on most applications.
- Fully Welded Domed Ends: Both ends turn in with 30-degree factory-style bends and close with seamless, fully welded domes, so there are no end caps to lose and no exposed bolt heads.
- Rocker Panel Protection: Running cab length beside the rocker panels, the bars sit between the body and trail debris, which Westin notes helps protect the rockers from damage.
- Stainless or Black: Choose polished 304 stainless steel, which Westin covers for life, or black powder coat over e-coated steel with a 3-year Westin warranty. Availability depends on the truck listing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will 21-23830 fit a 4Runner Limited?
No. The Limited is listed for 21-23580.
Does it fit a 2019 4Runner Trail?
The Trail is listed for 2014-2016 and 2021-2022 only. Contact us before ordering for a 2017-2020 Trail.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Westin lists these as bolt-on with the mount kit included and no drilling required on most applications. Check the fitment notes on your truck's listing.
How far do the bars reach?
Pro-Traxx 4 bars are cab length: they run under the doors, not from wheel well to wheel well, so they will not reach the bed.
Are there end caps that can come loose?
No. Westin closes each end with a 30-degree bend and a seamless, fully welded dome, with no end caps or exposed bolt heads.
What are the step pads made of?
They are 4"-wide injection-molded polymer pads with a raised traction pattern, fixed on top of the 4" oval tube.
