Features
- Wraparound headlight hoops: The outer wings wrap around the headlights in heavy-duty 1-5/8" steel tubing. Westin's plate design gives the wings maximum support, and 3/4" crossbars at the headlight area add strength.
- Textured black finish: Westin finishes the Sportsman X in textured black powder coat over an e-coated base coat for long-lasting corrosion protection.
- Bolt-on mount kit: Vehicle-specific mounting brackets and hardware come with every Sportsman X, and the guard has pre-drilled provisions for factory sensors.
- Removable mesh panel: A small removable mesh panel over the factory sensor opening comes standard. The center opening takes an optional detachable mesh panel or Westin's flush-mounted 26" dual-row LED light bar, both sold separately.
- Die-cut uprights: The uprights carry heavy-duty 2-1/4" wide rubber strips, giving the guard a finished look and a buffer where it takes contact.
- Die-stamped step: A die-stamped steel step on the 1-5/8" bottom tube gives sure footing when you reach into the engine compartment.
Description & Fitment
Westin's Sportsman X Grille Guard fits the 2015-2022 Chevrolet Colorado, giving the mid-size Chevy a wraparound guard with a step plate. The wraparound wings use 1-5/8" steel tubing braced by Westin's support plates and 3/4" headlight-area crossbars, and a die-stamped steel step on the lower tube helps you reach under the hood while 2-1/4" wide rubber strips run up the uprights. The center section is open for Westin's 26" dual-row LED light bar or a detachable mesh panel (sold separately), and a small sensor mesh panel is included. It includes the mounting brackets and hardware.

Check your truck: Fits the 2015-2022 Colorado WT, LT and Z71 and the 2015-2020 Base. The ZR2 is not listed. A small removable mesh panel covers the factory sensor opening (included), and the guard has pre-drilled sensor provisions; confirm your truck's front sensor layout before ordering. Does it fit a Colorado ZR2?
No. Westin lists the WT, LT, Z71 and (2015-2020) Base trims only.
How is the Sportsman X different from the Sportsman Grille Guard?
The Sportsman X adds plate-supported wings, an exterior step plate and a center opening sized for a 26" LED light bar or mesh panel. Westin sells the Sportsman Grille Guard as a separate line.
Is the center mesh panel included?
The small sensor-opening mesh panel is included. The large detachable center mesh panel is sold separately, as is the 26" LED light bar it can be swapped for.
Will my front parking sensors work?
The guard has pre-drilled provisions and a removable mesh panel for factory sensors. For specific Chevy and Ram trucks Westin offers a sensor relocator kit, sold separately. Check your truck's listing.
Can I stand on it?
Yes. The die-stamped steel step on the bottom tube is there to help you reach the engine compartment.
