Gladiator bed covers that fit your 5 ft bed
Jeep builds every Gladiator as a four-door crew cab with a single steel bed, 60.3 inches long at the floor with the tailgate closed and 44.8 inches between the wheel wells. Sport, Willys, Rubicon, Mojave and every other trim share it. Cover makers list it as 5'. No series here splits its Gladiator parts by model year, so a 2020 truck and a 2026 truck take the same cover, and Access already lists 2027 trucks.
The Trail Rail System
Jeep's Trail Rail Cargo Management System, offered from the factory, bolts adjustable tie-down rails to the front wall and both sides of the bed. It is the only factory option that changes the part. Roll-N-Lock builds the M-Series and M-Series XT in two versions, one of them made for the rails. Access does the same with the LiteRider. Extang's Trifecta 2.0 and Solid Fold ALX, the BAKFlip MX4, all four TruXedo series and the Pace Edwards Full Metal JackRabbit fit with or without them.
Other covers are listed only for beds without the rails: the Access Lorado and Original, both LOMAX covers and Extang's Trifecta e-Series, Trifecta ALX and Endure ALX. On a Trail Rail truck, choose from the rest.
Soft tops and plastic bed caps
BAK's Gladiator listing for the BAKFlip MX4 says it is not recommended for soft tops, though a 2022 Gladiator Mojave owner who fitted one in about 45 minutes wrote:
“I do recommend a second set of hands or a pair of clamps to assist you. This cover is not recommended for soft tops, however I’ve had no issues.”

UnderCover's Gladiator instructions for the Flex, Ultra Flex and Select have you cut a marked section out of the plastic bed cap, and the cut is permanent.
Choosing a cover for the Gladiator
Two covers here give a Gladiator T-slot rails for a rooftop tent, bikes or a bed rack. The BAKFlip MX4 TS ($1,449.99) runs T-slot channels along both rails and still folds flush to the cab to free the whole 5 ft bed. On a Trail Rail truck, the Roll-N-Lock M-Series XT ($1,849.99) is the rack-ready cover with a part made for those rails, though cross bars are not included and its 7.25-inch canister leaves about 53 inches of floor.
Take the doors and top off and the cab no longer locks, so a cover that secures the bed earns its keep. The Roll-N-Lock M-Series ($1,699.99) locks with a key, holds the tailgate shut while it is closed and comes in both Trail Rail versions. TruXedo's Sentry CT ($1,299.99) closes on up to six latches with a level-2 lock and fits with or without the rails. The BAKFlip and UnderCover folding covers here release from inside the bed, so on those a locked tailgate does the securing.
If your Gladiator came with Jeep's soft roll-up cover, one owner who replaced theirs explains why:
“I had an OEM soft roll up cover previously on the gladiator but the wind would lift it up in the middle and pull it out from the truck bed. I switched over to the BAK revolver X4s and definitely don't have that problem anymore.”

The Revolver X4s ($1,479.99) rolls up at the front wall instead of standing against the cab, carries 400 lb and holds BAK's Level-3 security rating.
For heavy loads, Extang rates the Solid Fold ALX ($1,199.99) at 600 lb, the highest published rating among Gladiator covers here, and it fits with or without the Trail Rail. On a budget, all eight soft covers start under $600 on the Gladiator. The Extang Trifecta e-Series ($339.99) is the least expensive but is listed only for beds without the rails, while the Trifecta 2.0 ($519.99) fits either bed with one part.
Brands we carry for the Gladiator
Eight brands build the 30 series that fit the Gladiator here. None of our Retrax covers lists the Gladiator, so the canister retractables come from Roll-N-Lock and Pace Edwards. The table lists 14 of the 30, at least one from each brand.
